Back to Work

Boy, oh boy, oh boy!

Three weeks in a sling consuming a ton of media, mostly TV, movies and reading.  I didn’t listen to a lot of music, sorta on purpose.  I didn’t listen to any of my own stuff on purpose.  I did, after 2 weeks, start working in PhotoShop and tweaking some lyrics.  Loved Loudermilk, not much else significant enough to note.

I’m still very much recovering and healing, but, it’s time to get down to work.  And, I’m excited for all of it.

·      Hiring a friend to help me get my studio put back together ASAP.  Hoping to be done by around the 4th.

·      Finishing up pre-production, narrowing down all the new songs to the top 15 to record and prepare to play live

·      As the songs reveal themselves and I know what I need instrumentation-wise.  I have my drummer picked out, but I have lots of talented friends to call on as well. 

·      I plan, as always, to work with Travis at Level32 Studio, but hoping to have a guy I’m recently acquainted with, who, in my opinion is a legend, to help out on the finishing of the project. 

Will get back to writing on more universal topics, but I’m just excited to start getting back to normal here.
